- Set up a Bluetooth audio device to work with Mac. Bluetooth is a wireless technology that allows your Mac and devices to communicate without using cables. To use a Bluetooth audio device such as a headset or speakers, you must first connect the device with your Mac, then select the device as your input or output device.
- Next make sure your mac is set to use the device for input. Then on your phone select audio output to Dock connector. Now any audio from your phone will be sent to your Mac. To use it as a microphone you now need to use an app that lets you feed back your mic.
There are many microphone apps on the App Store that can be used as a megaphone or microphone, etc - that allow you to talk into the iPhone microphone, then output this signal to speakers.
Once you have downloaded the Microphone Live app on your iPhone, connect your iPhone.

My question is this - given the obvious demand, why is there not currently an app to do such a thing? Is bluetooth too slow? Does Apple somehow prevent this type of signal flow?
